This video will help you learn how Universal Subtitles works. We've broken the process into three steps: The first is typing the subtitles. The second is syncing the subtitles and the third is reviewing your work. This video covers what you need to know for step 1. You'll see more helpful videos once you finish this step. To begin, you'll press the play button. You can also use the tab key to play and pause during this step. Your job is to type out the words you hear. Don't worry too much about typos or perfect accuracy, you can fix those during the review step. Just type what you hear and press enter to begin a new line. If your line gets too long, we'll press enter for you. One neat feature to keep in mind is called autopause. -Green for All is a national organization that's building an inclusive green econ... If you're typing continuously, it will pause and wait for you to catch up. Once you're caught up, it will unpause again. The key is to continually type what you're hearing and let autopause start and stop the video for you. The feature can be turned on and off with the check box in the sidebar. Once you've typed all the lines in the video, it's time to hit the "done next step" button.
