Taiheiyou ni Kakeru Niji [480p Quality] [Raw]

Title:
Taiheiyou ni Kakeru Niji [480p Quality] [Raw]
Description:

Schoolgirl Mitsuko tries to protect half-Chinese transfer student Yu-Lian from bullies. That night, she discovers Emily, an old American doll. Given to a Japanese child during an exchange in 1921, it was hidden from the "doll burnings" of the anti-Western war period and saved by a brave young girl (Mitsuko's grandmother). At the next day's show-and-tell, Mitsuko tells the story of Emily and encourages Yu-Lian.

Japanese are sentimental people. You can measure it with the symbolic importance they grant to objects. Yes, it even stand as true with something like a young girl toy. In consequence, a vintage doll was the centerpiece of another fable from the Soka Gakkai folks. What else is there to say? It is your typical Daisaku Ikeda's anime imbued with spiritual teaching... I think it is fitting for Christmas, to upload something with such a positive message...
As customary with Shinano Kikaku's entries, it was animation produced by Toei. The project was directed by Masayuki Akehi. He also filled that position for the last vintage movie of "Slam Dunk", the first "Saint-Seiya" movie but most importantly "Lupin Tai Holmes" a TV Special I am feverishly looking for in its Japanese version, to no avail. The music was signed by Seiji Yokoyama, the legendary composer of the Saint-Seiya soundtracks. May that genius musician be remembered for ages to come...
